Andrew L. Stern (SEIU)
Union Label
Story aired: Friday, January 28, 2005

For years "look for the union label" was a slogan and a plea. But as reporter Matt Bai writes in this Sunday's New York Times Magazine, many workers today don't want to be labeled union.

One of the biggest critics of the union system heads up a major union.

In his article "The New Boss," Bai profiles Andy Stern, the president of the Service Employees International Union, the largest and fastest growing trade union in the country.
