DA Argues to Keep Priest Porter Confined

In the vast church sexual abuse scandal, former priest James Porter was one of the first convicted. In 1993 he was sentenced to serve 18 to 20 years in prison, found guilty of 41 counts of sexual abuse against 28 boys and girls.

Porter has now served 10 years of his time and was set to be released from prison, but the local district attorney is fighting to keep him locked up.
